## About the hotel

Baur au Lac has occupied its lakeside setting in Zurich since 1844. A private park gives it a sense of space uncommon for a hotel so close to Bahnhofstrasse and the city centre.

Le Hall is the grand public room, while Marguita brings dining out toward the park and lake. The suites range from views over the Schanzengraben to the park and Lake Zurich; the Lakeside Corner Suite offers the most generous of the three featured layouts.

Stay here for a classic Zurich address within easy reach of shopping, the old town and the lakefront. It feels markedly different from the city’s newer design-led hotels.
