RARE Maisons helps you discover and compare exceptional hotels. These terms explain how our site works and what you can expect from us.

Who we are

RARE Maisons is an editorial and referral website about ultra luxury hotels. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean RARE Maisons, and "you" means anyone using the site at raremaisons.com.

We are not a travel agent, tour operator or seller of travel. We do not sell rooms, take payments for stays or hold bookings.

Bookings

When you book a hotel after following a link on our site, your contract is with the hotel or with the booking partner whose website you use, on their terms and conditions. Please read those terms, including cancellation, payment and privacy, before you book.

If you send us an enquiry, we may help you choose a hotel and introduce you to the hotel or to a booking partner. Any booking you then make is still a contract between you and that hotel or partner.

Prices and information

Rates on our site are indicative. They are for guidance only, show the date they were checked, usually exclude taxes and fees, and change daily. The price you pay is the one shown by the hotel or booking partner when you book.

We work hard to keep hotel information accurate and up to date, but hotels change. Please confirm anything important to you, such as room types, facilities or opening dates, with the hotel before you book.

Our site links to hotel and booking partner websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, prices, products, services or privacy practices. Some links are affiliate links, explained in our affiliate disclosure.

Our content

The text, design and layout of this site belong to RARE Maisons. Hotel photographs and logos belong to the hotels and their photographers and are shown courtesy of the hotels, as credited on our photo credits page. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with credit. Please do not copy or republish our content in bulk without our permission.

Using the site

Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or gain unauthorised access to any part of it.

Liability

We provide the site as editorial information, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, from relying on its content, or from bookings made with hotels or booking partners.
