Soneva Secret opened in 2024 in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll, in the far north of the Maldives, and has only 13 villas. There are no other resorts nearby, and the whole island can be booked by one group.

Its signature is the Sea Loft, an overwater villa reached only by boat, standing alone in the lagoon. The Two-Bedroom Overwater Sea Loft covers 1,108 square metres. The Two-Bedroom Beach Pavilion, on the island, is larger still at 1,158 square metres, and every villa has its own pool.

The reef here is quiet and full of life, with manta rays, dolphins and turtles. Days are planned around each guest: picnics on private sandbanks, an ocean zip line, manta trips without crowds. Treatments come to the villa, and meals are cooked where and when guests want them.

Soneva Secret was awarded Three MICHELIN Keys in its first year.
