On the Strand and the Thames since 1889, with a 264 sqm Royal Suite of river facing rooms and Savoy butlers for every suite.
The Savoy has stood on the Strand, above the Thames, since 1889. Its 264 square metre Royal Suite is a run of river facing rooms, and Savoy butlers look after every suite. The hotel holds three MICHELIN Keys in the MICHELIN Guide's 2026 selection.
The hotel stands on Savoy Court, a private road off the Strand, a short walk from Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, and the official site notes it was built to welcome audiences to the Savoy Theatre that gave it its name. It is one of the few London hotels with true riverside views, the same outlook Monet painted in 1899. Dining takes in British cooking in Gallery, seafood in the River Restaurant, the Art Deco Savoy Grill and the Michelin starred Restaurant 1890, while the American Bar, described as the original cocktail bar in London, and the Beaufort Bar serve classic cocktails with live music.
Afternoon tea is served beneath the glass dome of The Gallery with live piano and more than 30 teas, and wellness includes a naturally lit atrium pool, sauna, steam room and a 24 hour gym.

The Two Bedroom Terrace Suite, 122 square metres. The only suite at The Savoy with a terrace, with two bedrooms, two living rooms and a pantry.
The Grand River View Suite, 63 square metres. A suite with a living room and sweeping Thames views, the panorama Claude Monet painted from The Savoy between 1899 and 1901. The One Bedroom River View Suite, 61 square metres. A river view suite with a dedicated living room and Savoy butler service. The One Bedroom Suite, 54 square metres.
