Verride is a restored 18th century palace in Santa Catarina, on the hill between Chiado and the river in Lisbon, beside the Miradouro de Santa Catarina viewpoint. It is a member of Relais & Châteaux.
There are 18 rooms and suites, in the restored rooms of the palace. The palace keeps its historic façade and many of its original features.
The rooftop is the heart of the hotel, with a terrace and pool and views in every direction over Lisbon and the river, out to the 25 de Abril bridge.
SUBA, under chef Fábio Alves, is the fine dining restaurant and is recommended in the Michelin Guide. The Lisbon Club 55 is the second place to eat and drink.
Chiado, Bairro Alto and the Bica funicular are a short walk, and the trams and the river front at Cais do Sodré are just down the hill.

The whole noble wing of the palace taken as one: the Queen Suite, the King Suite, the Yellow Room and a library, 231 sqm in all. It is laid out like an aristocratic Lisbon house of the early 1700s.
Named for Professor Salavisa, a friend of the family, and furnished like a private flat, with living and dining rooms and a balcony over Praça de Santa Catarina.
A family suite on the third floor above the Bica quarter, with a separate living room and three bathrooms. Takes two adults and two children aged 8 to 12.
