The Riviera

Monaco

Monaco, from Casino Square to the coast.

Five distinct stays across the principality and its neighbouring French coastline, from grand hotels to a quiet cliffside retreat.

Monaco is small enough to cross in an afternoon, yet the steep streets give each address a different outlook. Hôtel de Paris is on Place du Casino; Hôtel Hermitage looks toward the port with a calmer air; Hôtel Métropole sits just off the square.

For a seaside stay, cross the French border to Monte-Carlo Beach in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The Maybourne Riviera sits higher above the same coast, looking toward Monaco. Both are outside the principality, so allow for a short transfer to Casino Square. Choose the square for easy evenings, or the coast for sea views and more space.

Getting there

Arriving in Monaco.

Each hotel page lists its address, check-in times and the hotel's own transfer times.

Good to know

  • Nice Côte d’Azur is the nearest major airport. Road times vary with traffic.
  • Monaco is steep despite its small size; lifts and buses help between levels.
  • The Grand Prix and other major events can change hotel availability and rates sharply.
  • Monte-Carlo Beach and The Maybourne Riviera are in neighbouring Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, not within Monaco.
