Hotels with Michelin starred restaurants
Dinner without leaving.
Hotels with a Michelin starred restaurant under their own roof, from three star dining rooms in Paris to Phuket's first starred kitchen.
How to choose
Staying in a hotel with a great restaurant means the best table in town is an elevator ride away. Every hotel in this collection has at least one restaurant on site that holds a Michelin star, as stated on the hotel's own pages or in the Michelin Guide at the time we checked. Stars are reviewed every year, so we recheck them and update the list.
Paris leads, with several hotels holding two or three stars in their dining rooms, often run by chefs whose names are known well beyond France. Hong Kong and Bangkok follow closely, with French, Cantonese and Indian restaurants inside the grand hotels. On the coasts, the starred kitchens are rarer and often more personal, cooking with produce from the hotel's own farm or from local fishermen.
A hotel guest usually has a better chance at a table, but not a guaranteed one. The most famous rooms book up weeks ahead, so reserve when you book the room, and tell the hotel about any allergies or preferences so the kitchen can plan.
Dining well does not stop at the stars. Many of these hotels also have a relaxed brasserie, a bar worth the visit and room service that reflects the main kitchen. The hotel pages note the restaurants we would book first.
