The Carlton stands high above Lake St. Moritz and belongs to the Tschuggen Collection. It is a small hotel by the standards of the town, with 60 suites and junior suites, all of them facing south over the lake and the mountains. Every room and suite has been refurnished within the last three years.
Suites run from 55 square metre junior suites to two bedroom suites of up to 160 square metres. The Carlton Penthouse fills the whole top floor, 386 square metres with a butler and views on every side, and is one of the largest penthouse suites in the Swiss Alps.
Da Vittorio, run by the Cerea brothers, holds two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points and opens for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday. The Grand Restaurant, with interiors by Carlo Rampazzi, cooks with Engadin produce and holds 16 GaultMillau points. Afternoon tea is served by the fire on the Bel Etage, and the sun terrace looks straight down the lake.
The Carlton Spa spreads over three floors with two pools, saunas, a steam bath and a gym, and follows the group's Moving Mountains programme of natural treatments, yoga and outdoor activity.
The hotel is open in winter only. The 2026 to 2027 season runs from 11 December 2026 to 21 March 2027.
