An art deco house of antiques on the river, with its own Muay Thai ring.
The Siam is a privately owned riverside hotel in Dusit, the royal quarter of Bangkok. Its black and white art deco interiors are filled with the owners' collection of antiques, vinyl and curiosities.
It is the most personal of the great Bangkok hotels. Pool villas hide behind high walls, there is a Muay Thai ring for early morning training, and the hotel boat runs guests down the river to the old city.
Why we chose it
01Privately owned, in the royal Dusit district
