Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is in Blevio, on the quiet eastern shore of the lake, in a group of historic villas set in old gardens.
The rarest stay is the Villa del Lago, a private lakefront house of more than 340 square metres with its own lawn, an open air whirlpool and a private dock. It has a living room, a dining room and a library on the ground floor and three bedrooms above.
The Penthouse Suite is the top floor of the 18th century Villa Roccabruna, once home to the soprano Giuditta Pasta. The Panoramic Suite with Private Pool has a dining table for six and its own pool up a short flight of stone steps.
L'Aria is the hotel's Michelin starred restaurant.
