Suvretta House opened in 1912 on its own estate just west of St. Moritz, facing the Suvretta slope and the Corviglia ski area. It is independent and describes itself as an alpine hideaway for generations to come.
There are 176 rooms and suites, many of them facing south over the Engadin lakes. The 90 square metre Suvretta Privacy Suite looks onto Corviglia and the Suvretta piste from a beamed room with a freestanding bath, and the Suvretta Suite Deluxe has 100 square metres and a terrace over the lakes.
Executive chef Fabrizio Zanetti cooks French food in the Grand Restaurant, a panelled hall with carved oak pillars and a coffered ceiling, which holds 17 GaultMillau points. The house keeps its traditions: jacket and tie for gentlemen at dinner, afternoon tea with a pianist in the lobby, and a cigar at Anton's Bar. The Suvretta Stube serves Swiss and Grisons cooking, and the hotel runs two mountain restaurants, Chasellas and Trutz, on the slopes.
The new Suvretta Spa covers more than 4,670 square metres on three and a half floors at over 1,800 metres, with a children's water world alongside. The hotel has its own ski school for children, a kids club and a chapel.
Winter 2026 to 2027 runs from 4 December 2026 to 29 March 2027. The hotel also opens for a summer season.
